Dear Friends,

AAPI today is over 45,000 Physicians and 15,000 Medical Students, Residents and Fellows strong. Besides being the largest ethnic organization in the country, AAPI has earned the respect of the entire medical fraternity through its past 25 years of service.

AAPI is grateful to its past and present leaders who have worked tirelessly to represent its members effectively and serve the Indian communities both here in the United States and at home in India.

I ask for your support as we all work diligently during this year to meet our goals of increased visibility, credibility and leadership, the building of new partnerships and alliances, and bridging global boundaries.

I am pleased to announce the first inaugural Indo-US Healthcare Summit to be held December 14-15 in New Delhi. This ‘first of its kind’ summit will bring together leading experts from the US and India to enhance the practice of medicine with focus on prevention, treatment and management.

Finally I would like to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to my wife, my colleagues and friends within the AAPI community for their valuable support and encouragement. I am committed to upholding the highest principles of medicine and bringing great respect to this fine organization.
