AAPI Journal seeks articles on medical and social matters especially related to Indian physicians, public health, life in USA, memorable incidents in your life which may have an interest and moral for all of us and more. The editorial board is friendly and receptive to writers and artists. Articles may be sent via e-mail attachments in microsoft word, along with a fax (352 796 8157) or as typewritten hard copy with a non-returnable floppy disc, to the undersigned. Feature articles should be no more than 1.5 pages (750 words) and news items, committee reports etc should be about ˝ a page (200 words). Stories should be preferably written in a conversational style, easy to understand.

For "Members in the News" section, a short write - up of about 50-60 words (with a photo) focussing on the achievements of the member would be enough. It goes without saying that the person has to be a member in good standing before the write-up on him/her can be published. We also encourage submissions of good quality photographs and other pictures to go with the articles and also for the cover page. The photos can be sent either by regular mail or by internet to the undersigned. The Editorial committee reserves the right to accept or reject any articles and edit all accepted articles as needed. Manuscripts and photos not accepted or published, will not be returned.

Part of each journal is devoted to a theme discussion and the topics for the themes along with deadlines for submissions will be announced periodically in the journal. Those who want to submit articles on these issues may contact the undersigned first and discuss what they want to write so as to avoid duplication.

What not to send

Original research papers and case reports which are more suitable for a peer reviewed scientific journal. Being a secular journal - India is home to 7 religious faiths - we cannot accept controversial articles, especially touching religious issues.
