The 5th annual AAPI IndoUS Healthcare Summit, hosted in conjunction with the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Medical Graduates in USA (APMGUSA), will be held at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad, India January 2-4, 2012. Please join the AAPI delegation for this exciting and educational event.
The primary goal of the Summit is to raise awareness of key health care issues affecting the Indian subcontinent such as diabetes, lung diseases, asthma & allergies, cardiovascular diseases, women's & children's health and cancer. The highlight of this 5th annual Summit is to reaffirm our commitment to improving health care across India and create prototype programs of implementation for various disease categories specifically designed to improve outcomes while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
The participants are pre-selected by the respective Co-Chairs from US and India and each team will develop specific proposals with focus on prevention, management and treatment to enhance effectiveness and delivery of care. AAPI USA will continue to be the lead organizer along with local Indian organizations such as IMA, MCI and others. This summit will focus on development and implementation of demonstration projects with specific and measurable outcomes. When proven successful, these projects can then be deployed both nationally and internationally. We look forward to collaborating with the leading healthcare providers in the US and India to improve health outcomes, enhance each others knowledge, and share best practices and experiences.
