Ram R. Krishna, MD elected to the FSMB Board

FSMB House of Delegates Elects Dr. Ram R. Krishna to the Board of Directors

DALLAS – Delegates at the Federation of State Medical Boards’ 97th Annual Meeting, held April 30 through May 2 in Arlington, VA, elected new board members, officers and committee members for the year 2009-2010. AAPI is proud to announce that Dr. Ram R. Krishna, MD, an orthopedic surgeon from Yuma, Arizona, is one of the seven physicians who got elected to the Board of Directors. The FSMB represents all the 50 Medical Licensing and Regulatory Boards in addition to the 20 Osteopathy Boards.

Dr. Ram Krishna has also been serving on the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) since 2007 and just got elected for a second term. He has also been serving on the Arizona State Board of Medical Examiners since 1994.

Dr. Krishna is a graduate of Bangalore Medical College, India. He is a Patron Member of AAPI. The entire AAPI family is proud of his achievements and congratulates him on his election.
